That will eventually change in time. The reason they are considered illustrators is because most of the work they did was commissioned for used as book cover art or as advertisement art. Norman Rockwell for example became famous as an illustrator for the Post magazine, something he will always be associated with, but is definitely a painter and a great artist. Frank Frazetta’s art is considered fantasy art and he may have a harder time shaking off the ”illustrator” thing from his resume, but i’ve never heard him complain about it.

if you heat leather oil (neatsfoot oil etc) it will make leather darken.

this is a good way to make brown leather darker when all your brown gear doesn’t quite match! you know when all you gear is a slightly different shades of brown and tan?

so i would heat the oil (very very slightly – only a slight temperature increase will cause the oil to darken the leather) do it in a saucepan (carefully..!!!!) or, depending on where you live, leave it in the sun and leave your saddle in the sun also (warm leather soaks up oil better)….

test an inconspicuous place on the saddle to find the right shade of "dark" and then darken the areas around the streaky patches…

sorry this is probably the opposite of what you want – darkening the rest of the saddle rather than lightening the streaks. otherwise take it to a good leatherworker/saddlery and they could give you advice? surely you can dye leather…?

Other moms do this when they think that their child is a prize! They have to have them dressed in expensive clothes, hair done, and the children are not allowed to act like children. I buy all of my sons clothes from walmart…they are cheap and as fast as he growns out of them I cant afford to go to the mall and buy a 20$ shirt when I go to walmart and can get 10 whole outfits for 20$. Its crazy. We know what its like to be a real mom. Not one that thinks being a mom is about showing your kid off!!!

We use Sequential Spelling for all of our spelling. It starts with a base like "at" and then adds to that base. Cat, Sat, Fat, Late, Later. "At" is in each word and the word is slowly built upon. My kids have done really well with it.

The picture you show is of a Brompton, which is a high quality folding bike. Some folding bikes can be both flimsy and heavy, and not very practical. Good folding bikes can do almost anything a regular bike can do, but quality in this type of bike is expensive because they use a lot of non standard components and parts can be hard to find.
